I was feeling really low after receiving some tough news from my hospital check-up, and I hadn’t had lunch yet. Craving comfort, especially in the form of Indian food, I decided to try a restaurant recommended by an Indian friend—and I’m so glad I did. The food is authentically delicious! Their chicken biryani, in particular, hit the spot—it was flavorful and satisfying. What made the experience even better was the warmth and hospitality of the staff and the owner. As I was dining alone, they took the time to chat with me, which truly helped lift my spirits. To top it off, they offered me a free almond milk, which was surprisingly good and comforting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes—or maybe some snacks from their extension restaurant—during my stay here in Cebu. Sometimes, a bit of sunshine doesn’t come from the sky, but from good food and kind people.
